		<description>I hope pastor&#039;s in our synod regard this as an important issue and do what they can to proclaim the Good News about the immigrants in this country -- their value and self worth, their rights, and their wrongs.  But above all we must remember that we are a church made up of immigrants, it is our call to welcome other immigrants, to help them, to witness to them and for them, to do whatever we can to move government and opinion leaders by recalling our own experiences as immigrants.
