By synod guidelines, we’re near deadline for various elements of Synod Assembly preparations.
NOMINATIONS AND CANDIDATE INFORMATION FORMS – Deadline: May 15
A list of positions of synod leadership up for election at our Synod Assembly is found on the Synod Assembly page. Nominations and Candidate Information Forms, accompanied by a photo, should be sent to the Rev. Albert Triolo, chair of the Nominations Committee, at atriolostmarks-elca.org.
DRAFT RESOLUTIONS/MEMORIALS – Deadline: May 15
Resolutions and Memorials are tools when adopted by a synod assembly that request action locally or by the broader ELCA. Guidelines, information and samples to submit a draft for consideration can be found on the Synod Assembly page. Drafts should be sent to the Rev. Mark Edwards, chair of the Reference and Counsel Committee, at mark.d.edwards79gmail.com.
REPORTS – Deadline: May 15
Units affiliated with the synod, including tables, committees, offices and synod staff members, prepare an annual report shared with the Synod Assembly to give us an update of ministry developments. Reports should be sent to Kevin Anderson, synod secretary, at kevin.d.andersoncomcast.net.
REGISTRATION – Deadline: June 1
