Voting members and visitors of the Metro D.C. Synod traveled to Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, to convene as the 2008 Synod Assembly on June 12-14. God's work, our hands, was the theme of our gathering, exemplified by reports and displays of exciting ministry among our 81 congregations. We worshipped together, took care of business, elected leaders, studied Scripture, ate and played. Check out a photo album of our time together, election results, adopted resolutions, summaries of daily activity plus more.
