a synod initiative to support new mission starts
through $200 per year commitments
The cost of getting a mission congregation into a first building in our area is over one million dollars. This kind of debt is staggering to individuals and congregations and is a daunting challenge for the synod and church at large. Metro 200 is one way that we can help spread the Gospel and share the Good News here in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Synod.
$200 per year breaks down to $3.85 per week or $17.70 per month. Metro 200 funds together can go far toward aiding a mission congregation when securing a mortgage on a first unit building.
