CHRISTMAS GREETING Artwork Contest Details

  • The 2017 CHRISTMAS GREETING Artwork Contest runs through December 4, 2017. All entries are to be submitted by email* to kkruegermetrodcelca.org no later than December 4.
  • Submitted artwork must be your own original creation.
  • Amazing art comes from people of all ages and will be welcomed. No special submission categories exist.
  • Entrants must be part of a congregation, Synodically Authorized Worshipping Community or Congregation Under Development in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Synod (“synod”).
  • All entrants must include with their submission their name, email, age if under 18, contact phone number and congregational membership information (for your convenience – complete & send this “Submission Form” – rtf file).
  • The contestant whose artwork is selected will see their attributed, winning art placed on the synod webpage and social media sites, as well as be shared in the synod’s Christmas e-greeting. A small synod logo gift will also be awarded for the winning submission.
  • Because the selected artwork will be primarily shared digitally, a “landscape” layout is the preferred (but not required) format – that is, something more wide than tall (like a piece of paper on its side).
  • The winning entry will be selected by Karen Krueger, Communications Coordinator, and staff of the synod.
  • By entering this Art Contest, each contestant consents to the use of his/her name and/or artwork in the sharing Christmas greetings produced by the synod. The synod may use or decline to use any submitted artwork. The contestant retains the right to use and publish their artwork.
  • All entries become the property of the synod and will not be returned.
