God of the cross and God of Resurrection:

In this Easter Season, crucify the selfish and sinful parts of ourselves so that we can truly be people of the Resurrection.

Lord, you have called us to a new place. Humble us today and put our feet on the path to unity, community, equality, justice—the path that leads to new life.
