Bishop’s Lenten Eucharist: Time of Reflection and Prayer

The annual Bishop’s Lenten Eucharist for rostered ministers will be an extended time of worship, and this year include lunch as well as the opportunity to continue our synod’s discussion on racial equity and racial healing.

Tuesday, March 20, 2018
10 a.m.-2 p.m.
at the Village at Rockville – A National Lutheran Community in Rockville, Md.

Come prepared to rest, pray, talk to colleagues, and consider some of the ways racial awareness shapes our personal history and our ministry. The event will be especially important as we prepare for the early April commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s assassination, for which major events are planned on the National Mall.

The Village at Rockville is generously providing lunch. Please register by March 9th so accommodations can be made. Registration now open.
