DESCRIPTION:For youth in grades 6-12. This is a small group centered event\, where middle and high school youth will be grouped with other youth of the same age/grade. In addition to the small groups\, large group gatherings will introduce the theme progression through worship and music; games will help form the weekend’s community; and service projects will invite youth to apply what they’re learning to hands-on service. Come to The Lord’s Wake – Youth + Family Day at Leesylvania State Park on Friday\, June 27\, for games\, a shared lunch\, and a special devotional reflecting on the faith-filled ripples we create in the world. \nThe event will be held at Picnic Pavilion #4 (handicapped accessible with restrooms\, water\, electricity\, and a grill). We’ll gather from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM\, but the pavilion is reserved from 8:00 AM to dusk—feel free to arrive early or stay a bit longer on your own! \nCost: Just the $10/vehicle entrance fee to the park. DESCRIPTION:Registration is now open for Daring to Dream\, a retreat for middle and high school youth on November 15–17 at Potomac Park in Falling Waters\, WV.  All youth in grades 6-12 are invited! Youth will be grouped with other youth of the same age/grade. In addition to the small groups\, large group gatherings will introduce the theme progression through worship and music; games will help form the weekend’s community; and service projects will invite youth to apply what they’re learning to hands-on service. DESCRIPTION:Children’s spirituality begins from God’s love and gets nurtured through relational and life-giving Christian practices. However\, in the 21st century\, neoliberal ideologies and consumerist practices suppress children’s holistic flourishing\, and most churches’ ministries exacerbate the problem. \nBecause our ministering and parenting to children do not consider children spiritual enough\, and children’s experiences do not matter. \nTherefore\, this workshop\, led by Rev. DESCRIPTION:All children in grades 3\, 4\, and 5 are invited to attend our retreat for elementary school students on March 9-10 at Mar-Lu-Ridge Retreat Center. Throughout Saturday and Sunday\, we will rotate through different stations to experience God through Bible study\, games\, arts and crafts\, science\, and service. \nAt Seekers\, we are inviting families to attend a retreat with their children if they wish.
