Independent Auditor’s Report and Financial Statements

This video, “Where Does Your Offering Go?,” continues to be requested by congregations as they discuss Mission Support after the video’s debut at the 2016 ELCA Churchwide Assembly. NOTE: A statistic in the video is slightly different for our synod. The Metro D.C. Synod is one of six pilot synods that receive no funds back from the ELCA for things like new church starts and so are resourcing the work of the larger church at 35%.

Resources discussed during a conversation between financial representatives from synod congregations in a conference call on January 16, 2010 coordinated by the synod’s Resource Development Committee are available below. All are pdf files, and all were developed by the ELCA unless otherwise noted.
