How might your congregation better engage the new\, younger and more diverse people that live in your community? \nWe live in a time that some describe as VUCA: Volatile\, Uncertain\, Complex\, and Ambiguous. Despite these conditions\, God calls the church to be led by the Spirit and find a faithful next step or two. \nJoin congregations from around our synod for Future-Focused Church: a day anyone who has responsibility for the future of the church (church council members\, planning committees\, pastors\, and deacons). He’ll bring his passion for helping churches achieve their full potential and his expertise on congregational leadership and change. He has a wide-ranging background of business and ministry roles\, serves on the boards of Geneva Camp and Retreat Center and Baker Publishing Group\, and lives in Grand Rapids\, Michigan\, with his wife\, Lauren\, and sons Will and Theodore. \n
