United Lutheran Seminary-Gettysburg Campus
A unique leadership retreat planned and led by the seniors of the Lutheran Youth Organization (LYO), on the seminary campus in Gettysburg. The weekend is centered around creating a safe space for high schoolers to discuss the impact the pandemic and other things have had on their faith. Everyone adapted in their own way when church communities had to rapidly shift to worshiping apart. We wish to spend the weekend processing what was lost or what was different from our middle school and high school experiences, and initiating meaningful conversations about how we can refocus our faith on the years ahead.
Since youth events were particularly limited in recent years, the seniors that planned the event are hoping to have a lively weekend in which everyone can be deeply engaged and which they can enjoy. Registration will be limited to 50 participants, and is live through June 13 – no exceptions.
