Youth and Family Ministry Listening Session

The synod is gathering feedback on its youth and family ministry: what is bearing fruit, where do challenges remain, and what is your hope for the future? There are a couple ways to offer feedback (and you’re encouraged to do both):

- Attend an upcoming 1-hour listening session where you can voice your experiences and feedback. The options for these listening sessions are below:

- Monday, May 4 OR Thursday, May 7 – at 7 p.m. on Zoom (http://tinyurl.com/MetroDCZoom; password is 4005). These two online listening sessions are open to all: lay people, youth ministers, parents, youth, and clergy.
- Saturday, June 6 – A final in-person listening session will be held at Synod Assembly as one of the workshop options.
Pastor Grace Casola will lead these sessions and gather insights for the Bishop and synod council who will use them to support the vital work of youth ministry moving forward. Input from the current Lutheran Youth Organization (LYO) students will also be collected at their end of the year gathering.
