Feeding Neighbors: Redeemer, McLean, VA

At Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in McLean, VA, their Little Food Pantry provides neighbors in need with 24/7 access without questions, qualifications, or judgments. While Redeemer does receive donations from both the community and congregation, the pantry is very much needed, and most days it is emptied. Redeemer volunteers and staff restock the pantry every day, and to do this they need a healthy supply of canned food. The Social Outreach Committee used a Feeding Our Neighbors Together grant from the synod to stock the Little Food Pantry; the grant covered about 60 days of restocking.
