Important Deadlines
DUE MAY 17: Candidate Information Forms for Leadership Nominations
DUE MAY 15: Send reports and videos to metrodcelca@metrodcelca.org.
DUE APRIL 7: All recommendations and resolutions of units of this synod, the Synod Council, as well as those from affiliated or related agencies of this synod, upon which Synod Assembly action is requested shall be submitted to the secretary of the synod no later than 60 days before the opening of the assembly.
Leadership Nominations
Each year, the assembly votes to elect new members to serve on the synod council, churchwide assembly, and other important synod tables. A drop-down list of open roles is available within the Candidate Information form. If you or anyone you know is interested in serving in one of the roles listed, please submit the Candidate Information form no later than Sunday, May 17.
News
The synod will host virtual town halls to review and discuss important items that will be presented at the assembly. Town halls are open to all voting members of the assembly and especially recommended for those who will be attending the assembly virtually.
A note about vendor displays: we do not have vendor tables at our one-day synod assemblies (we do not have space in our venue to accommodate). You may submit a PowerPoint slide that could be incorporated into a looping slideshow during breaks.
