Shoot a short video
Shoot a short video to showcase your ELCA congregation’s ministry on this 25th anniversary of the ELCA! The theme for the 2013 ELCA Churchwide Assembly is “Always being made new.” Seeing and hearing how this is happening locally will tell the story of the anniversary focus of the ELCA being “deeply rooted in faith, and always being made new.”
Maybe something leaps to mind. Maybe the following questions will bring an aspect of your ministry into the viewfinder.
- In a rapidly changing culture, where is God leading and calling us as the ELCA?
- Where are we “showing up” as a church in your community?
Around 24 videos will be shown during the Churchwide Assembly in Philadelphia in August, and others will be featured on the ELCA YouTube channel and LivingLutheran.org.
Videos should be 60-90 seconds long. All videos should be completed and available for posting by June 30. Connect with members of the ELCA Marketing Communications staff for additional details by letting Karen Krueger, synod communications coordinator, know if you’re interested by May 7.
