Campus Ministry here in the Metro D.C. Synod is vibrant and healthy.
Our synod supports campus ministry because we realize that our local universities bring a large opportunity for ministry and service. “We have more than twenty colleges and universities on the territory of the synod numbering over 350,000 students,” says the Rev. Tom Omholt, Lutheran Chaplain for American University students. “During these four very impressionable years of campus living enters the support and encouragement of Lutheran Campus Ministry.”
Currently we have five campus ministry locations.
