Registration opens

16synasmpageNow that spring is actually in the air, it is time to swing into Synod Assembly action! The letters have been mailed to congregations indicating the number of Voting Members allotted (see a copy here).

Online registration is open now through June 1 for Voting Members, visitors and rostered leaders. We look forward to a lively one-day event at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Gaithersburg, gathered with the theme “For the Healing of the Nations.”

Deadlines for prep materials

As previously announced, we are collecting materials in advance of the Synod Assembly for proper preparation.

  • April 15th is the deadline for Nominations/Candidate Information Forms for people being considered for positions of synod leadership elected by the 2016 Synod Assembly. Find a list of positions, info and applicable forms on the Synod Assembly page.
  • April 15th is the deadline Reports from teams, units and other synod-affiliated ministries.
  • May 6 is the deadline for Visual Display applications. Although space excludes traditional display tables, slides will be shown on site for accepted display applicants. Find details and appropriate forms on the Synod Assembly page.
