The Metro D.C. Synod Racial Equity Team and Youth + Family Committee invite youth and young adults to a powerful event series on racial justice. “Good Trouble: Being Bold and Boundless” will engage participants in recognizing racial injustice, fostering repentance, and moving toward reconciliation in ways relevant to their age group.
Led by Dr. Marci Vandiver, each session will include interactive activities, racial education, and a time of fellowship and discussion on how to take bold action for justice.
All sessions will be held in-person or online from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM.
- Saturday, March 29 – Middle and High School | St. Luke Lutheran Church, Silver Spring, MD
- Saturday, May 17 – College/Young Adults | Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Vienna, VA
