Guests blogger – ahem – “volunteers”

Stephen Padre

Great help is good to find! A recent visitor to the synod office has been recruited as guest blogger during our Synod Assembly this year, reporting his observations “From the Floor.”

Stephen Padre is a member of Augustana in D.C. and has provided communications services in some capacity to church organizations for most of his career, including the Lutheran World Federation Kenya-Sudan program, Action by Churches Together (ACT) International and various departments at the ELCA in Chicago. He is currently the communications director for a small nationwide nonprofit based in Washington, D.C.

We thank him for enhancing our telling of the great story of ministry in this synod.
