Celebrating by Giving

During the church’s 40th anniversary celebration in 2010, All Saints Lutheran Church in Bowie raised funds for the Bowie Food Pantry in a joint effort with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. A check for $500 was presented to Debbie Langdon (forefront in blue shirt), director of the Bowie Interfaith Food Pantry, on February 9 by members of All Saints Lutheran: (l-r) Louise Waynant, Dave Conrad, Liz Muller, Don Rich and the congregation’s pastor, Rev. Gary Rhinesmith. All Saints Lutheran Church is among a number of area churches that regularly support the Bowie Food Pantry through donations and volunteer activities.
