Council Leadership 101 – May 14
The first in multiple Council Leadership Trainings to help your council leadership team understand their responsibilities and how to effectively manage the important needs of their congregation.
This specific training, Council Leadership 101, addressed:
- new attendance reporting guidelines
- submitting online forms to the ELCA and Synod Office, and
- maintaining the Parish Register
Our Presenter
Katharyn Wheeler has served as the Administrative Assistant to the Bishop in the Metro D.C. Synod since February 2015. Previously she served as Administrative Assistant at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Dale City and 10 years and as a vocal music teacher in Cincinnati. She has a Bachelors of Music Education and a Computer Instruction endorsement. In 2018 she created the Metro D.C. Synod Admin Network to connect congregation administrators throughout the synod together for resource development and community.
