Metro D.C. Synod Pride Parade and Festival Booth
June 8 - June 9
The Metro D.C. Synod RIC Team is participating in the D.C. Pride Parade on Saturday, June 8, and hosting a booth at the D.C. Pride Festival on Sunday, June 9. There are several ways to get involved and everyone is invited to come and share God’s love and acceptance while meeting some great people!
- Saturday, June 8:
Start the day by helping decorate the Parade Float at Augustana Lutheran Church at 9:00 AM or join in at 3:00 PM to walk or ride in the Parade.
- Sunday, June 9:
Help attend the Synod booth at the Pride Festival by greeting people, spreading the message of God’s Radical Love for ALL, giving out items, and engaging participants in activities. There are shifts available from 11:00 AM–8:00 PM.
