Unlikely Leaders

Middle school students in grades 6 through 8 are invited to the “Rooted & Rising: A Journey to Stronger Faith and Identity” leadership retreat, hosted by the Delaware-Maryland and Metro D.C. Synods. This special event, held Friday, April 4, to Sunday, April 6, at Mar-Lu-Ridge, is designed to help middle schoolers explore and grow their leadership potential.
Each congregation may bring up to four youth along with one adult leader. Through small groups, large group worship, music, games, and service projects, students will dive into their faith and identity while building meaningful connections with others their age.
