Gifts of Hope Director Position Open

The Metro D.C. Synod is looking to hire a part-time Director for the Gifts of Hope program. Gifts of Hope is a gift-giving program that provides an alternative to the commercialism of Christmas and other gift-giving occasions throughout the year. It serves as an intermediary between donors and organizations serving persons in need. 

The Gifts of Hope Director is responsible for the on-going mission of Gifts of Hope. Other responsibilities include:

  • Recruit, encourage and oversee the work of volunteers
  • Interact with the 19 beneficiary organizations
  • Manage publicity and the Gifts of Hope website
  • The Director’s work is overseen by the beneficiary organizations and reports to the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Synod.
