Julie Jackson

Julie has come to the Metro D.C. Synod by way of South Dakota, Florida, and Pennsylvania. She has recently joined the Synod staff after serving for two years as an intern and then as a pastoral assistant at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gettysburg, PA. Julie is a 2021 Master of Divinity graduate from United Lutheran Seminary and an approved candidate for Word and Sacrament ministry, discerning where her gifts can best serve God and God’s people. Julie is most excited about using her administrative gifts to be a support for the Metro D.C. Synod!

Julie supports the Assistant to the Bishop and Director of Evangelical Mission and Assistant to the Bishop for Mobility and Candidacy, as well as the office of the Bishop and the Synod staff, occasionally.

Julie lives in Gettysburg, PA with her family and will work primarily from an office at United Lutheran Seminary’s Gettysburg campus. If you are on campus, stop by and say hello!
