Rev. Julie Jackson

Pastor Julie Jackson has come to the Metro D.C. Synod by way of South Dakota, Florida, and Pennsylvania. She joined the Synod staff after serving for two years as an intern and then as a pastoral assistant at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gettysburg, PA. Julie is a 2021 Master of Divinity graduate from United Lutheran Seminary and serves as pastor of St. Matthew Lutheran in Plainfield, PA.

Julie supports the Assistant to the Bishop and Director of Evangelical Mission and Assistant to the Bishop for Mobility and Candidacy, as well as the office of the Bishop and the Synod staff.

Julie lives in Gettysburg, PA with her family and works primarily from an office at United Lutheran Seminary’s Gettysburg campus. If you are on campus, stop by and say hello!
