Build Your Congregation’s Racial Equity Library
We are Water Protectors, How to Be An Anti-Racist, Caste, God’s Holy Darkness, My Grandmother’s Hands, The 1619 Project, The New Jim Crow. These are but a few of the books you may be interested in adding to your congregation’s lending library through a grant from the Metro D.C. Synod’s Racial Equity Team. Ten small grants of up to $250 are available so your congregation can purchase both adult and children’s books (list of ideas here) related to topics of racial equity and social justice, both fiction and non-fiction.
