Taking an ALT year

Group 236

What happens when God’s story and your story meet in community? Abundant life together. Christian young adults, age 18-25, are invited to consider an ALT Year – a nine month “gap year” opportunity to explore one’s gifts, passions and calls through relationships with peers and the support of a host community – including a site director and local leadership teams. If you are a part of the ALT Year Experience, you will spend half of your time in structured community life and half of your time will be free for your own exploration, exercise, and rest. You’ll be amazed what we can do together and how much you will grow as a person, through this mix of community structure and personal freedom! More at http://altyear.org about this ELCA program.
