Video contest results are in

Metro D.C. Synod youth placed in the 10 most popular videos from individuals in the 2009 “God’s work, Our Hands.” video contest for their entry depicting the Chi Rho synod servant event, but were not recipients of the top prize announced August 22 at the ELCA Churchwide Assembly. Congregations and individuals submitted 224 videos to the contest, which closed July 15.  The winning congregation entry is “God’s Work through Parish Nursing,” Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, La Crescent, Minn., and the winning individual entry is “Unconventional,” Eric Mennel, Largo, Fla.
