So… Why are we changing the synod’s Constitution & Bylaws? How do we add a minivan for the bishop to the budget? Will cookies during breaktime be gluten free?
Whatever your question, a team will be on the line Wednesday evening, June 18, to prepare us for the 2014 Metro D.C. Synod Assembly with a conference call. Sort of an everything-you-ever-wanted-to-know-about-the-Synod-Assembly-before-you-get-there opportunity.
“We are especially eager for conversation with Voting Members and others who want to talk about the proposed changes to the synod by-laws or about the synod Mission Spending Plan. And we plan to talk about other things, too, with anyone who calls in,” says Bishop Graham.
Participants may want to look over and bookmark the Synod Assembly materials page for the call-in, because that’s where you’ll find the Draft Agenda, “Frequently Asked Questions: Changes to Synod Constitution & Bylaws” and “Flow Chart: Synod Organizational Structure” among other resources in addition to general information on the main Synod Assembly webpage.
Talk to you then!
