Civic Life & Faith Hearings

The ELCA Task Force on Civil Life and Faith will hold three hearings within the Metro D.C. Synod on the Draft Social Statement on Civic Life and Faith. The final hearing is at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 15, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Takoma Park, MD.
The hearings provide a special opportunity to respond to the text of the draft statement and to hear the perspectives of others. Pr. Lamar Bailey, a member of the ELCA Task Force on Civic Life and Faith, will be present for the discussion. Attendees must read the draft statement before the hearings.
